2010 in review

So before it's the middle of January and 2010 is pretty much gone from our minds, I wanted to jump on the recap bandwagon and post my highlights of the past year! Warning: It's majorly picture heavy, especially on the parts that I never blogged about!!

January

I rang in the New Year in style with Scot and my bff Jpicc (among others)!

And we had part 2 of snowmaggedon in DC.

Scot wasn't a fan.

February

I finished level 2 at PMTI, and we had an amazeballs potluck to celebrate.

Then we had the part 3 of snowmaggedon, the final installment.

So. Much. Fun.

Once some of the snow melted, I got my 4th tattoo.

And we went to Medieval Times for Valentine's Day!

I never even heard of this place until I moved to Maryland, and had been begging Scot to take me ever since ;)

We also saw Tegan and Sara at the Warner Theater.

If you think our cat is named after this band.. you'd be correct.

March

I went to visit my bestie AKA in Philly and we saw my first pro basketball game, 76'ers vs the Celtics.

Scot and I went to see Chelsea Handler perform in DC.

And Scot got the first part of his 5th tattoo done.

April

We celebrated Easter by going to church and then brunch with a couple of our friends.

I got most of my cherry blossom tattoo done.

I helped my mom pick out her wedding dress.

Isn't she pretty??

And.. oh yea.. I GOT ENGAGED!!

May

I volunteered to massage at the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

I watched my mom graduate and get her (second) Masters in Theology at Gettysburg Seminary. I also met my future step-siblings for the first time!

And I got to eat Maryland crabs in true Maryland fashion for the first time ever =D

June

We visited our future wedding venue!

July

We went to visit Scot's parents in upstate NY for the entire week following July 4th. ((I wish I updated this blog more then because it was seriously SO much fun.)) We just relaxed, saw some fireworks, swam in the lake, went tubing, etcetc.

We went to Niagara Falls for my birthday!

We finished the week upstate by visiting Scot's friends who were hosting a pig roast (both of these pictures are disturbing).

I don't why I was watching on the left. And on the right... dlajfdljkvakl he freaked. me. out.

A few weeks later, I went to the Weddingbee meet-up in DC.

And then I graduated from PMTI!!!

August

We helped our buddies HK and K-bomb move into their new place.

I went back to Philly to visit AKA and have a general good time. I also realized that I'm getting old.

September

My mom got married!

We had our e-pics taken.

October

We went to see oVo at the National Harbor.. a belated birthday gift from Scot!

((omgosh I have no picture for this. ack.))

We went to the Rally to Restore Sanity on the Mall in DC.

And I volunteered to massage at the Marine Corps Marathon!

November

We went to Vegas, baby!

I celebrated my friend A's 30th birthday.

And we pigged out over Thanksgiving (...and bought my wedding dress!).

December

We decorated our tree.. twice.

I went to Philly yet again, to see friends and go to the Army vs Navy game.

..and see my other best friend E. I always see him in Philly but hardly have any pictures!

Scot and I hosted a little holiday party (which I have yet to write about, ack!).

And we went to upstate NY and Long Island to celebrate the holidays (more on that soon!).

Phew... I kind of half-assed December because I have tons more to actually write about, but looking back, I'd say I had a pretty awesome 2010!! Hope all of yours were amazing as well!
