This is what aging does.

It all started with this drink:

A delicious mix of Patron, Patron Citronge, pomegranite liquor,
and a splash of club soda, otherwise known as
a Passion Pomegranite Lemonade.

Oh man, was it good.

Mind you, I have not had much tequila since college.. the random margarita, sure, but nothing like this (or the following two margaritas and shot of Patron).

A little background: I went to visit my best friend and future MOH Ash in Philly this past weekend, which generally equals a good, alcohol-infused time. The only times I have been really "hungover" in the past few years have been when we have gotten together, so I could sort of anticipate what was coming. Needless to say we had crazy fun dancing and playing pool and galavanting around Old City, but long story short, I felt less than decent the next day. And realized I am definitely not 21 anymore. As Ashley so eloquently put it, "What the hell? This used to be a Tuesday night for us." In fact, the last time I visited her, I stopped drinking around 11pm and opted for hot tea and chicken fingers instead. What has become of me?!

I can't say I'm sad that I'm "growing up" or what have you, but it's definitely a shock to the body. Similar to the dance class I went to a few weeks ago; I was there 100% mentally but my body was screaming at me the next few days, saying "I don't think so, Steph." Wouldn't it be great if we could always be as young as we felt?

I'm not quite sure what the point of this post is, but it was all floating through my mind on the bus trip back to DC.

That being said, here's some fun photo booth pictures from the night!
