Not a big one, but I think it needs to be done.
This blog started out a few years ago actually, when I was still a Philadelphia city girl. The title of said blog, forget.me.nots and city sidewalks, was a blend of a Motion City Soundtrack lyric and my city life (plus it sort of rhymed, huzah!).
Well, I've written many a post about how I'm accepting my new(ish) not-so-city lifestyle and am actually enjoying it. Sure, I still tell people I live in the DC area and work and play here, etcetc, but the title just doesn't seem appropriate anymore. I write more about my cats than my city adventures (wow).
So today is the grand (re)opening of... Forget Me (not). A little play on words while still keeping the old name and URL relevant. Plus, it seems fitting.. I tend to use self-deprecating humor, always have, and this blog has become somewhat of a random mix of my life's moments that I might forget if I didn't write them down. Making my mark on the interwebs and all that fun stuff. And I apparently really like parentheses.
So that's it. Hello again :)
(also.. html is being a be-otch so sorry it looks all funky. most of you just use reader anyway, i think)

I like the name and new header - your blog is so girly but not too girly like shazaam!!! in your face girly (which I really hate).
I often wonder if my blog name is too long, but I like it for now.
Haha I kind of hate that it's so girly, I don't know why I went with pink. Or flowers. It may change to turquoise soon since I'm slightly obsessed with that color.
And I like the name of your blog Amy! I think it's great and meaningful, I'm sure!
