First off, I actually got something from my wish list.. numero 4, Adobe Photoshop Elements!
Anddd a crossword book. Score.
This was all thanks to my amazing fiancé. I haven't used Photoshop in a while, so it's definitely going to take some time to get used to again, but I'm psyched none the less! (Now I just need my dslr camera.)
Minor setback: I tried to import my photos from iPhoto but it told me I needed to update to iLife '10 or '11 on my Mac (I bought it in '08). So I go to do that, and it tells me "oh I'm sorry, but you also need the Snow Leopard OS to run the new iLife package." So... I basically need to spend another $130 just to get my pictures imported into the Photoshop organizer.
I figure I'll wait a bit on this and see if it's actually essential. I'm just happy I actually have real photo editing software. Baby steps, baby steps :)
Secondly.. the future in-laws got us a KitchenAid mixer!
You guys have NO idea how badly I wanted one of these. It's not the tippy-top model, but it still has all the fixin's that I could possibly want and it will make my life amazingly easier!! I will probably just start cooking random things so I can use it. Not sure where it will fit on our counter, but whatever. We'll MAKE space. Oh, and has anyone ever made homemade pasta? Because there's an attachment for that. And I neeeeeed it for some reason. Nom.

Other gifts include a Misto (that converts olive oil into a fine mist spray.. yes, this excites me) from Scot and some awesome fingerless glove mittens and a gorgeous mini-replica ornament of the star on the Rockefeller Christmas tree from my mom. Love.

Ahhh, I'm so jealous of your mixer! I've been asking for one for years, but apparently no one can hear me! And the spray bottle is cracking me up!
I have the same model mixer and I ADORE it!
Photoshop has made my life so much easier. I literally edited my MIL's eye open in some of our wedding pictures. It's awesome, hope you get your pics loaded so you can use it. :)
I have a misto! Coolest thing ever. And saves a TON of olive oil. I am so mega jealous of that kitchen aid mixer. Can't wait to see all the goodies you make with it. :)
