Gimme gimme gimme

That's a bit snobby, no? Well, I am an only child. Heh. Anyway.

I figured that it's about time for my official Christmas wish list!!

But first: before I tell you about what I want, I wanted to share something I gave (sorta). We sent out the majority of our Christmas cards last week (reveal coming soon, I promise!) and people started receiving them this past Monday. I sent one to a good friend of Scot's parents, who I have met several times and who even sent me a graduation card this past July (seriously, how sweet is that?! My grandparents didn't even do that). I got her address from the envelope and included her on our card list.

Scot spoke with his parents this past Tuesday, and apparently their friend received her card that day and was so thankful. Like, beyond words ecstatic and thrilled and touched by it. Hearing that almost made me cry.. to know that I actually touched someone so deeply through just one small gesture. It's kind of amazing, and it really instilled in me that elusive Christmas spirit. Just wanted to hopefully share it with you, too!

Ok. Now onto being selfish. My list:

1. Nikon D3100. I don't just want this.. I need this.

2. A new Vera Bradley bag. My old one (as much as I love it) is all decrepit and falling apart. I'm a little bummed because I can't seem to find the right bag/color combo (Vera tote in Mod Floral Pink). But I could go for this one:

It would match my larger weekend tote in Mediterranean White!

3. Xbox Kinect, just so I can play Kinectimals. The tiger does whatever you do. It's amazing. Yes, I'm five.

Bahahahaha, I didn't even do this myself. Found it this way.

4. Photoshop Elements 9. To go with the aforementioned camera (or my lame point and shoot, whatever). And because I can't afford real Photoshop.

This is more of a need, also.

5. Money.

Cash, check, or Visa gift card accepted.

6. A big, gratuitous mixed media print of Scot and I from Amy Terkeurst's shop on Etsy.

How badass is that?

7. This one's more for Scot, but an at-home beer brewing kit from Northern Brewery.
Mmmm. Beeer.
I wanted to buy for him this year, but yea, I'm poor. See #5.

8. An iPad. I didn't think I wanted one, but then I went into the Apple store this past weekend and played with it for a hot minute. Now I need one.

You know that when you search "iPad" in Google, it doesn't do anything? It just redirects you to Apple's page. Huh.

Thus concludes wish list 2010. For now. Don't you love how cheap expensive my taste is?

What's on your wish list? I know I've seen some pretty good ones floating around!

If I were Santa, I'd bring you all those toys. I have Photoshop Elements and love it however, I made the mistake of downloading the Photoshop CS5 trial...NEED.

I saw a kid playing volleyball on the Kinect @ Best Buy and it was freaking AWESOME.
