Playa del Carmen, Mexico!!!
Can you tell I'm excited??? Cause I am!! This will be my first time in Mexico, and first time to a beach in over two years. That is just embarrassing coming from someone who grew up 10 minutes away from one and spent 99% of her summers there. (Hint: me)
Also, I may have butchered the title to this post.. it's supposed to read "guess what!" in Spanish. Which I stopped taking about 10 years ago. But it's ok, because G grew up in Bolivia, speaks Spanish fluently, and has visited Playa del Carmen many times, so I have my very own personal tour guide.
The tickets were purchased last night, and all that is left for me to do is get one of these:
I have an appointment to hand in my application tomorrow, and exactly 10 weeks until the trip, which I have been told is more than enough time to acquire said passport. Would you agree? Please say yes.

So jealous!! I was supposed to go there next weekend, but I cancelled it because of work. :( But have fun! It's such a beautiful beach!
When the hubby and I started dating (we were official for all of 3 days) I found out he didn't have a passport. I woke him up first thing Monday morning - took a mug shot and marched his butt to the post office. The guy suggested he say he was going to Bolivia (because its beautiful) so he'd get it processed faster - less than two weeks later it had arrived!
3 years later we'll be going to Bolivia on our 1st anniversary cruise!!
So yes- you have time and YAY FOR MEXICO
This reminds me that I really need to get a passport!
