The Honest Scrap award! Love it. And love her and her bloggy goodness.. it keeps me laughing and smiling and I strongly recommend that you all hop on over, check it out, and follow. Do it!
That being said, I'll continue with my honesty (and tradition and such) with you guys. Ten facts you may or may not know about me:
1. I don't eat red meat, and tend to get violently sick if I do. I think my body just got so used to not having it that it can't handle it anymore. Bacon and pork fall into this category for me as well. So I should probably actually say that I only eat chicken and fish. Nom.
2. I come across as pretty confident, but deep down I can be kind of a doubtful mess, especially about my looks. Most days I hate my teeth, my ears, my boobs, my arms, my stomach, my thighs. I attribute it to all the years I spent dancing and having to stare at myself in the mirror in just a leotard and tights next all these skinnyminny gorgeous girls. (Hey, I'm supposed to be honest, right?)
3. I'm a crier. Like, at everything. I've seen Pam and Jim get married on The Office about 5 times now, and I still tear up when they peace out and go on the Maid of the Mist and "elope". It's obscene. What am I going to do on my wedding day?!
4. I'm obnoxiously protective about my MacBook. It irks Scot to no end. It's not even that fancy.. it's almost 2 years old now and is the basic version, but this thing is my baby. It's the most expensive thing I've actually bought for myself with my own money, and it's mine. (Only child much?)
so prettyyyy <3
5. I'm really hoping you guys don't judge me because of this!! Nah, I trust you, you won't.
6. I was a goody-two-shoes in high school, and even most of college. Aside from the bits of wine my mom would give me on special occasions, my first "official" and illegal drink was when I was 18 or 19, on a trip to Boston with my girlfriends. The most trouble I ever got in growing up was for shopping at the GAP for an hour longer than I should have after school (pre-cell phone days), and my dad took my car away for the weekend. Yep.
7. My mom is my hero. She is so strong, independent, loving, funny, successful, smart.. I could go on for days. She's a huge inspiration to me and I wanna be just like her when I grow up. Love you, mom.
:)
8. I haven't officially "met" one of my best friends, who lives in San Diego. We started talking online one day when I was 14 or so, and continued for the next 11 years. We eventually went to phone calls that would last for hours, and even video chat. We don't keep in touch as much as I would like anymore, but he's always weirdly been a support system and friendly ear and face for me. We may never meet in person, but he's definitely close to my heart.
9. As much as I love living with Scot (for reals, it's great), I do sometimes miss living on my own. I loved my apartment in Philly and often reminisce about the good times I had there.
10. I think my job is giving me cellulite. The job itself is great since I can blog/tweet/read/do whatever on my free time, but the sitting seriously gets to me. My exercise ball/chair isn't even helping :(

Awww, thanks friend!
I used to be protective about my laptop, til I realized it was a piece of crap. URGHH.
And I'm a total crybaby mushball too. PAM AND JIM FOREVER.
You are very welcome! You totally deserve it!
Your list was great. I especially love that you are protective over your laptop. That's hilarious to me. I grew up with so many siblings that nothing is ever actually yours.
I don't eat red meat either, it used to be only fish, chicken and turkey, but in my first year of university I jumped back on the bacon wagon, I don't eat most pork, but I can't give up bacon!
We're very similar!
Umm I am now going to have nightmares of that chickenfish. WTHeck!
I don't eat red meat either! YUCK! I'm pretty sure I could be considered protective of my laptop, considering I don't let my husband touch it (he's rather tech challenged).
Omgosh I love how other people understand the laptop thing ;) Heh.
haha, this was great! Congrats on the award! and, I loved Mean Girls. Everyone said I'd start quoting it immediately, and I have. fun, fun show :)
Woot! How fun! Can't wait till a get a chance to do this! Thanks!
Thanks for the award! I'll do it...soon? I hope? Anyway, you're totally hot so shut up about that. Also, very good to know about the red meat thing. I thought it was just a personal choice (which is totally cool) but now that I know you get super sick I'll take extra care to never, ever feed it to you lol.
