I really, really want to post some stuff about my invites (that are already in the works 18 months before the wedding, hush), but I don't want to 'ruin the surprise' for my guests. A few of them may stumble upon this blog (or this one, because it's unofficially up and running!) and it would be a shame to leak the goods before their official release date, you know? But I really want to get your guys' opinions, since I am ever the indecisive one.
Any solutions, suggestions, opinions?

On another note, I got antsy the other day and did this:
Can you tell I love it since I'm being vain and taking multiple pictures of myself?
Yep. 4 weeks after I just got my hair trimmed/restyled, I went back and chopped it all off.
I was thinking about doing it even when I went in last month, but didn't because I still wanted to try long hair. Then I just kept thinking about it, more and more and more, and decided to heck with it, let's do it. So now I have a short and sassy 'do, and I lurve it. Maybe now I won't get mistaken for a 16 year old like I did in Vegas. Yea, that happened.

I also seriously can't believe it's already almost Thanksgiving. I feel like everyone is saying the same thing this year, about how time has just gone so fast and how no one is actually "ready" for all this holiday madness.
But I am here to tell you that I AM.
I wasn't a few days ago, until I turned on the string of Christmas lights we kept up from last year and popped in Love Actually and downloaded the Glee Christmas album. Getting in the mood for Christmas will lead me to be in the mood for Thanksgiving (don't ask, it works), which I really want to enjoy because hey, turkey and stuffing and cranberries? Sign me up. Repeatedly.
NOM.
Part of the reason I love Thanksgiving is because I love the feeling of it. For the past eight or so years, I have been going to my mom's for Turkey Day, and certain things have become tradition. For a while it was just the two of us, and occasionally one of her friends would join for dinner. The past two years we added on Scot, and last year we added on Jim (her hubby). I can already smell the turkey cooking and taste the fantastical homemade stuffing we make every year (I'm sorry, but this is the best. stuffing. ever.) and feel the warmth and love of family and good times.
So, in short, I? Am super excited for next weekend :)) Do you guys have any big and exciting plans for Thanksgiving?

I am soooo excited for Thanksgiving! I love it! I love being with my family!
Your haircut looks awesome and you do look older. I'm always so afraid to cut my hair short, so I understand the hesitation.
You should do a post that has three or four different invitation samples that you like, one of which is the "real" invite. That way, you are still posting it, but they don't really know which one they will get. ;)
I'm brilliant, I know. But I don't have a cute, sassy, sexy haircut like you. Love your hair color BTW!
@Jessica You are, indeed, a genius ;) I'll see if I can work up a little sumthin sumthin.
