meow.
I have a decent mix of product brands that I'm currently using. First up, my plethora of concealer options.
I'll be the first to admit that I don't have perfect skin. Does anybody?? If so, I hate them.
But in all seriousness - I had fairly decent and cooperative skin until I hit 21, which was coincidentally the same time I went on birth control. Dearest hormones: you suck. So I need lots of options to cover up the pimples and red marks you have decided to leave on my face.
Generally speaking, I'm a MAC whore. All non-MAC related items have usually been bought in cases of emergency (see: the night of a certain bloggy meet up where I was working for 8 hours before hand and forgot my entire makeup bag.. ugh).
So what I currently use (I mix and match depending on the day), from left to right in the above photo:
MAC shade stick in Beige-ing (no longer made) - mostly to make eye shadow stay, but it helps brighten under eye circles as well!
MAC Select Cover Up in NW20 - spot concealer
L'Oreal True Match in porcelain (W1) - used as a last resort - I hatehatehate wearing all-over concealer, but if the face is really bad, this is my go-to.. it's super sheer
Neutrogena Skin Clearing Blemish Concealer in Fair (05) - love this - spot concealer with zit-killer stuff!
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector in Buff (09) - to brighten and hide under eye circles
MAC Select MoistureCover in NC15 - more for under eye circles.. mine are bad, yo
Neutrogena Skin Clearing Mineral Powder in Natural Ivory (20) - all over powder that I bring with me everywhere, again with the zit-killer stuff!
Next up: eye stuffs.
I've currently dismissed all MAC eyeshadow for the time being and have only been using this Clinique Color Surge Eyeshadow Trio lately. It's amazing and perfect and I love it.
What I do switch up is my eyeliner.. I don't know why I feel the need to carry around 8 eyeliners, but hey, you never know when the mood will strike for a different color, yes?
As you can see, mostly MAC eyeliners, in Teddy, Bordeauxline, Prussian, Light As Air, and Engraved. I added to the mix Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Liner in Cosmic Black and Ulta Automatic Eyeliner in Raisin, as well as MAC Liquid Glitter Eye Liner.
In terms of mascara, I have three options. Yes, three.
At this point, I really only use the middle one - MAC Haute & Naughty. The other two have been used pretty much to their limit and serve more as glorified eyelash brushes than actual mascara. But guys.. the Haute & Naughty? Ah.maz.ing. It's one mascara with two brushes - use the pink one for day to day wear, and the glittery purple one for long, dramatic, big-night-out lashes. Haute & Nauty fo' sho'.
So that's basically it! I've never been one to wear a ton of makeup, and I don't carry all of this around with me - it's just what I use to primp in the morning. If I had to pick, my go-to's (that I consistently carry with me) would be the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector in Buff (09), the Neutrogena Skin Clearing Mineral Powder in Natural Ivory (20), and the MAC Haute & Naughty. All basics, all good!
All that being said.. I still need better concealer for my horrendous under eye circles. They aren't puffy.. just dark. Any suggestions?

I would do this except I only wear foundation and mascara with some lipgloss SOMETIMES. People would be like, um, really? that's it?
Girrrrrrl. I wear more makeup than RuPaul. I could never do this, because I have a whole Caboodle (from 8th grade, so literally - still the 80's) chock full of makeup and I bring half of it with me on a daily basis. I've heard that those undereye things made by Revlon, maybe? That have a brush on them that you swipe on? Are good for undereye circles. I realize that was the opposite of helpful.
I think we have really similar coloring - I might have so steal some of these products! I wear very little makeup because I'm so fair and worry it looks weird on me.. I like the Almay Skin-Clearing concealer for under-eye circles.
