It's my birthday today!!
I turned the big 2-6, which means 1) I'm the age I'll be when Scot and I get married next year (huzzah!), and 2) I'm officially closer to 30 than I am to 20 (not so huzzah-worthy). 26 makes me feel like I should have everything all figured out and be a big time adult. Not exactly sure what that would mean, but whatever it is, I don't feel like I'm it. Which can be a good thing.. young at heart and all that jazz!
Anyway, since I'm a total ham and generally announce July as my birthday month (why do we all only get a day? It should be a week AT LEAST.), we've already had one round of birthday dinner and cake, with more festivities planned for today.
The first 'celebration' was at a Hibachi grill with Scot and the future in-laws. I stuck with sushi, but I totally love watching the hibachi shows!
We later had a bit of delicious Wegman's cake and gifts!
Super nom.
And today? Oh goodness I'm excited for today.. we have planned a beer tasting and lunch at Dinosaur BBQ!!

SO MUCH FUN! Happy Birthday again pretty girl! Hibachi is sooo fun and yummy! ;) Sushi is always a good choice though... and I AM SO JEALOUS OF YOUR KINECT. I might have to hint at it to David for my bday next month.
