Then I actually went, to appease the boy, since he just LOVES that store.
And I had to gobble up my words and bias once again because that store can really have some good finds! Some stuff, admittedly, is a little "eh" in the quality department, but the stuff they DO have of good quality is pretty fantastic!
Two lines Kohl's carries that I can't get enough of: Simply Vera (as in THE Vera Wang) and Lauren Conrad (of The Hills fame, duh).
Thanks to some magnificent sales lately, Scot and I visited Kohl's twice in as many weeks. My favorite purchase by far is this pretty little Simply Vera bag:
It looks way better in person.. and such a pretty lavender color!
And then there's all the LC stuff. The girl knows what she's doing (at least fashion wise). Some of the amazing (and budget friendly!) items I've picked up in the past few weeks:

So the pants look weird with ghost legs, but I promise they look better in person. I'm obsessed with that motorcycle jacket.. wore it today actually! The awesome thing about LC's clothing line (aside from the fact that it's adorable to the max) is that the clothes just fit. Well, they fit me, at least. Oh, and I am a pant size smaller in some of her bottoms. Hells to the yes.

I'm not exactly sure what Kohl's is comparable to here, but Wikipedia kind of makes me think it's like Sears or The Bay. I wish we had access to the LC brand, especially since I have a love on for her right now (have you read her books yet???).
I have always liked her...and her style, we started doing the braid thing around the same time, and then everyone copied us (for realz).
Ohhhh mother eff... I just googled her line and apparently it's only available in Holt Renfrew here in Canada which is like swanky swanky don't go in there unless you've got a Platinum Credit Card. Sigh talk about mark ups.
My MIL is obsessed with Kohls. We get her a Kohls GC for her birthday and Christmas every year. Not sure she shops LC's line, though ;)
I'll admit, I have a bit of a bias against Kohls. it's stupid, really. Buuuuut your rousing endorsement just may have changed my mind.
OMG! I LOVE the LC for Kohls line!! She's amazing. I love LC anyways, but I got her black blazer last year and it still looks fab. I also got a few other things- boyfriend jeans and cardis. Maybe I should go over there soon...
I grew up about 4 blocks from a Kohls (well, by air - it was across a highway and a river) and I LOVED it. Growing up with a single mom and no money, $50 would get you a brand spankin' new school wardrobe. (Yes, we shopped on the clearance racks with the coupons.) I was overjoyed when Kohls came to Florida. It was like Christmas!
Our super hot bridesmaids dresses were LC from Kohls. My girls paid $30 for them and all of our guests said they were beautiful!

I'm not a huge Khol's fan because their Junior's stuff is too "young" looking and the misses/women's seems too matronly. I'll definitely have to check out LC's line! Seems the perfect medium. :D
I'm glad Kohl's finally added a good mid-age clothing line with LC. (ditto Jessica's comment on the jrs vs. misses there)
I just got their mailer with shoes and handbags and I am really impressed! Think I might have to make use of the 30% coupon this weekend!
