I am training my replacement at the law firm all week (so weird!), so I will be a bit MIA from all forms of social media for a bit.
But! Speaking of social media..
Can we talk about how AMAZING it can really be??! Operation Layla was able to raise ALL the money for Layla in just about 48 hours.. how insane is that? When I first heard that we'd not only reached but exceeded our goal of $4500, I got teary eyed. Through simple "word of mouth" on blogs, Twitter, Facebook, etc, we were able to band together and help someone in need, who deserves this ten-fold. I am so proud to say that I was able to be a part of this "blogger movement" of sorts.. and even better is that any extra money collected will be used to help cover additional medical costs Layla might encounter, as well as be donated to various charities.. go here to check it out and read more!
