Tuesday Tunes

I was going to skip this post this week in lieu of replying to the Blog Tag game that's been going around, but I still need to find a few more pictures to add to that post, so it will be coming tomorrow!

So now, without further ado.. I present to you..

Blah blah blah, I know, you all know who they are and I'm sure you all hate them. I kind of do too, now. But I didn't always! In fact, back when I was a sophomore in high school. I was absolutely obsessed with them. Particularly Benji.

How frickin' adorable was he way back when??

Clearly he has made some changes.

That's ok, Benji. There will always be a special place for you in my heart <3

But anyway, the point of this is to momentarily relive the first GC concert I went to, on May 10th 2001. How do I remember this? Because I had a freaking count down until the day of the show for months in advance.

Apparently it was a Thursday.

Since Good Charlotte was still a relatively little known band, they were still cool and met with the fans before the show.

That's Benji and HE'S HUGGING ME. I died a little.

I still have that poster somewhere.

Me and bff'er J. Gawsh, we were young.

It was fantastic. We met the whole band (I'll spare you my one on one pictures with each of them). After I got my pictures developed from the show (I KNOW.. real pictures!! Not from a digital camera!!) I taped them all over my bedroom door, so in case you didn't know I liked Good Charlotte already, you sure as hell would before you came in my room. As you well should.

So I just want to give a shout-out to the boys/men of GC back from the good old days. And give a listen to Waldorf Worldwide... because, well, I love the song.

Awww too cute :) Can't say I'm a fan, but I definitely appreciate your dedication! (I was like that w/ the Backstreet Boys. Dedicated, NOT obsessed.)

I think dedicated is a better word. I tend to use the word 'obsessed' quite a lot. It wasn't a scary-obsessive thing, just a case of super dedication!

GC was my equivalent to BSB ;)
