The Big Costume Debate

Ah yes, it's that time again, where the question on everyone's mind is: what to be for Halloween?!

There's always the trendy celebrity costumes every year, such as (Tina Fey's) Sara Palin in 2008...

And Lady Gaga in 2009...

Or you could be something random yet funny... like a banana...

Or even sexy and sassy... like a Disney Princess?...

I'm told this is Snow White. Hmmm.

So what is a person to do? I'm still undecided, but my friend T showed me the following costume, and I'm kind of loving it, since all I really need to do is get some fangs, an apron, and an iron-on:

(Can't find the source, sorry!)

It's Jessica from True Blood! Spoiler alert if you haven't seen Season 3: she works at Merlotte's now. I admit that I'm drawn to costumes where my red hair is an asset, so this would be kind of amazing and easy and fun! On the negative side, I literally just found out that my friend A is going to be Jessica, so I guess it's a no go :( Oh well. The search continues...

What are your thoughts and plans for a Halloween costume this year?

Uuugggghhhh Halloween. I honestly LOVE dressing up, but I always end up figuring something out last minute. Or I have a really good idea, but it's kind of obscure and I worry that no one will get it. Where I went to school (Ohio University), Halloween is a BIG deal. Hopefully I'll come up w/ something in the next few weeks. If nothing else, I'll be going as a Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert fan at their rallies :)

You still have time! I obviously now need to find something else to be, so I need to keep thinking too. Although I'm loving that you'll be going to the rallies, as will I! Grab a bunch of posters and fliers and just walk around the next day pretending like the rally never ended :))

Oh Man, Stephanie, I'm having the same problem! Good luck finding something! Do you watch Glee? With the red hair you could totally be Emma Pillsbury!
