My senior year of high school, I was Rudolph. Inspiration? A $5 pair of antlers at Old Navy and my bff J's reindeer pajama pants (unfortunately not seen!). She was a cute little pixie fairy.

See, all the graduate students at Wharton Business School at UPenn have one night a year where they go out to bars all dressed up in business suits.. minus the pants. Guys and girls alike forgo bottoms and they all wear boxers and go bar hopping. Us dancers did not go to UPenn, and we were not in any way involved in this, but we thought it was hysterical and decided to channel all the smarties over there and dress up in technically two costumes. Hence, Village People menos los pantalones.
The same year, the junior jazz dance majors all dressed up the week before Halloween in 80's gear (a la Fame) for our class and rehearsal with the amazing Mr. Wayne:
Me and M with our jazz hands ;)
Junior jazz majors!
My senior year in college and last year for a party the night before Halloween, I was a 'sexy' Strawberry Shortcake. Since I'm vain and looked better in the costume last year than I did in college, you get to see that one.
T (as princess darkness, muahaha) and I on the way to the fiesta.
Two years ago, mine and Scot's first official Halloween together was also the first annual Zombie Walk in the town we live in. We are both avid zombie fans (weren't expecting that one, were you?!), so we dressed the part and hit up the walk, which ended with a midnight showing of the original "Dawn of the Dead" at the local AFI theater.
We're on the left (I was channeling Alice from Resident Evil) with our zombie buddies!
Last but not least, my "official" costume last year that I actually only wore for about 2 hours, so there is a very good chance I will reuse this one in the future, if not this year. Scot and I were supposed to go out to another party with our friends but got lazy and went to a local bar for all of one beer, then left. But we were cute while it lasted.. hellz yea, Princess Peach and Mario!
I think my favorite out of these was last year's Peach and Mario costumes.. I definitely can't wait for us to wear them again. What was your favorite Halloween costume?!
