Flashbacks.
You know what else I love?
Weddings (obv).
So why not have a little wedding flashback time?!
This past Friday, while my mom was at her apartment running around and getting things together for the weekend and her wedding the next day, I decided to go through some old photo albums while I waited. Among those photo albums were two small ones from her and my dad's wedding way back in 1980 (I think). I've seen these before but I always love to see old photos of my parents, especially when they were together; I don't really remember them ever being that way, so it's nice to see =) Plus, she just looked so happy and beautiful in the pictures and I just love seeing them! So I took some pictures (of pictures) to share with you all!
My mom with her bridesmaids.. is it crazy that I kind of love their dresses?!
My mom with my aunt and my grandmother (on the right, of course!)
I just love this one of her!
So before I buy my own dress, I kind of really want to try hers on..?!
Picture perfect moment.
So scandalous! (Doesn't my dad kinda look like Napoleon Dynamite??)
This I love.. day after, my mom and dad with my Nana Sharon (step-grandma).

However, I must say, as cute and happy as they look.. I have never seen my mom as happy as she has been this past year with her new husband, Jim. He is perfect for her, and a perfect way to end this post is to show my gorgeous mom now, on her wedding day 30 years later, looking better than ever.
Aren't they just the cutest?
(all personal photos)
(Please note that I am writing this as I watch Bethenny getting Married?... the episode where she actually gets married. Perfect.)

Those photos are a million kinds of awesome. I love the bridesmaids dresses, your moms dress, your dads hair, and that car in the last pic. LOVE IT!
I love it! You should definitely try on your mom's dress! My mom's dress was way too small for me. I'm now trying to figure out what to do with my own wedding dress... save it forever in case i have a daughter one day who wants it? or get rid of it?!
Your dad so looks like Napoleon Dynamite! Hilarious. And your mom looks beautiful in both weddings. Def. try on the dress. If she was willing you could have it altered slightly if you want it to be more your style. Or keep it exactly the same!
Thanks guys!
@Poor and Fabulous.. I think you should keep at least for a while.. you never know, you're future daughter may want to wear it or even (if you're willing) cut it up and use elements of the dress for something!
@Lindsey.. I think her dress has serious altering potential.. she's definitely cool with it and only keeping it because I asked her too ;)
Just saw this! btw -- it's Aunt Joan with me & your grandmother in the 2nd picture! love ya!
Thanks for *all* of these pics, Steph! I must say - I've never been happier either.
