It's time.. for Weekend Update!

Oh SNL <3 A little randomness to start out the week.

I had some pretty good times this past weekend:

Money has been tight, so Scot and I have had to cut back on our dinners and happy hours out as of late. But! On Friday, thanks to a kick-ass Groupon, Scot and I were able to go to HH at Copper Canyon Grill - $20 for two appetizers and a bunch of drinks? Yes, please!! Then we went home and watched some more of True Blood Season 2.

Early Saturday morning, we headed over to the Farmer's Market in downtown Silver Spring where we got and shared our usual smoothie:

Ok, not from the FM, but Smoothie King is so freaking tasty!

..and meandered around a bit and supported our local farmers and business owners.

Then I went to take my National Certification Exam for Massage Therapy.. and passed!! I was freaking myself out about this for weeks, but all the studying paid off. Soon I will be fully licensed, and be able to get fun little business cards that say Stephanie C, L.M.T. So lame, but I've always wanted letters after my name. Score. Oh, and of course I'll finally be able to have a job I love and practice in DC and MD!

to massage the participants of the DC Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

The afternoon was pretty laid-back, and we had our friends T and K over for some homemade chicken quesadillas at night. They were so tasty that they were devoured before I could take a picture, but this pretty much sums up our sentiments:

Sunday started out with some time at the shooting range, which I haven't been to in a while. Scot is a big gun fan.. he has three and is currently looking for another .22 to shoot with. It's a hobby that I originally disagreed heavily with  but have come around to a bit. And plus, I figure it's good to know how to shoot one if I ever am in the situation where I need to, you know? And I actually did pretty good this time! I must admit, though, that part of my reason for going was so that after, we could go to Jared's to get my e-ring cleaned. We were done at the range by 10, only to realize that Jared's doesn't open until 12, so that was a no-go. Then we decided to cross the street and go to Best Buy so I could pick up the second half of Glee, Season 1, only to realize that they don't open until 11. Damn Sunday hours ruining my plans.

So that was my weekend. And speaking of Glee.. I am so freaking excited for the Britney episode tomorrow. Any other Gleeks out there excited too?!
