Another clothing-related post here.
I bought this nice pair of raised flats from Kohl's by Dana Buchman, which were incredibly comfy in the store. I hadn't worn them since I bought them, however, because it's summer, and who doesn't want to show off their pedicures and pretty toe rings, right?! Well I decided to change that yesterday, and yes, I paid dearly.
I have a total of 8 blisters from those babies. Yes, that is 4 per foot. These shoes were, in a word, the devil. Who would have thought that a pair of innocent, black wedge flats could cause so much pain?? Which brings up the question.. why, oh why, do we ladies put up with this? How often do we hear of men complaining that their shoes hurt and give them blisters? True, they do mostly wear sneakers and dress shoes, but these were flats we are talking about! Not those crazy, high heeled contraptions I do so love. I actually have less problems with those kinds of shoes than the cheapy, flat ones.

And there-in lies the issue. Cheap. Not just in price, but quality. The future hubby (FH) laughs when I say there is a difference between shoes from Payless and Kohl's, and shoes from Aldo and Macy's (never mind the Choo's and Manolo's). I honestly do not suffer as much, nor get as many blisters from the slightly better brand of shoes. Coincidence? I think not. Though FH would tell you differently.
